Well, This Club has been created due to the fact their ISN’T a Yaoi based Lit-Club. In fact, Lit clubs are very few and far between on DeviantArt all together. The site seems to be much more geared towards the type of art you can purchase prints of, rather then literature and other differet types of art.

Well, We’re dedicated to the write word and Yaoi! Those two things together make our world go ‘round! They make us happy and clap with gleeful abandon. Sometimes they make us cry, sniffle and wail out the “injustice of it all!!” One thing about good Literature, be it magical prose of fiction or poetry – if well written, it will always bring up deep emotions in us. That’s why we love it, we can identify with the characters, whether we love them, or love to hate them! In the end, we identify with them, and that’s what makes stories so unforgettable, it’s what inspires the artists mind to write and draw FanArt, it inspires people to make games off the basic themes of stories, and so much more.

The basic idea is for us to open ourselves up to all forms of Yaoi-Lit. That means I’m great for you guys submitting Comic pages *as well as* simple Literature files. Art is definitely not shunned in our club in any way shape or form, but if you’re going to submit some form of art other then writing,(drawings, photography, so on and so forth) please have it attached in some way to a literary work of art as well. Like a cover pic for your short story would be acceptable, for example!

*~*~*PURPOSE and GOALS!*~*~*
The purpose of this site is not only for the artists to get noticed, but also for the fans of Yaoi-Lit to be able to easily find the wonderful artists! I know, long ago, I had no idea tat Male/Male fantasy works existed, or I’d have spent all my money on ebooks and never left my room nor my computer. Now, I’m a published author of the stuff and I know without any question that there simply ISN’T enough information out their to pair the readers up with the writers. Well, I want this club to help with that particular problem. In this case, Yaoi simply means “Male/Male romantic/sexual/loving relationships” – It does not have to be manga related. Does not have to have to do with comics, does not have to have to do with short stories, or anything like that. It can be chapters of full length novels, short stories, comics, manga, --ANYTHING!! But our goal, with this group, is to pair those who LOVE to read, with those who LOVE to write.

Let’s make things easy – If you +watch us, we’ll consider you a member of the club. Basically, you’re watching us to look for new talent and make certain that you don’t miss it, so that is good enough as being a member for us!

You may only submit a story to us if you’re a member.

*~*~*CONTENT*~*~*

All content is welcome in this club, from basically harmless to extremely mature. If that’s going to bother you, keep in mind that there *will* be warnings on any of the harder core material. So, if you aren’t interested in anything with BDSM content – the Authors note will state what content the story contains, and if you do not read BDSM there, you’ll know you’re safe. This means that when submitting a story to YaoiLit you’ll need to be 100% Clear on what content your story covers, as it will be very hard for me to read over every single story sent to me, though I’ll have to do so until I find me some admins, I think. Basic point is – if you are against hard core material, just make sure you read the Authors Notes before you read the story, and you should be fine!
